You speak – we listen. Several of our customers have requested a side-hinged door in frame. We are therefore now launching the Ecolid Side-hinged Door in Frame, based on Sweden’s best-selling folding door of the same name. The door is fitted with a torsionally rigid C-frame made of natural anodised profiles with a thermal break and integrated grooves for EPDM rubber sealing strips. The door is intended for installation in an external facade and is therefore equipped with internal hold-open fittings that keep the door leaves in the open position. The door is manufactured fully made-to-measure, with a maximum outer frame dimension of 2490×2490 mm.
Internally mounted door closers
Another new feature is that our door closers for steel doors in frame are now mounted internally. This means no additional space is required, as everything is installed on the door leaf and the frame. No screws in the wall are needed either. The door closers are pre-drilled and the required fixing materials are included.
Widened inset pedestrian doors
Our inset pedestrian doors have also been made 40 millimetres wider, while the threshold has been lowered by
20 millimetres.
