Environment & Sustainability
Prido takes responsibility for the future and wants to be part of the solution to one of the greatest challenges of our time. We conduct active sustainability work. Continuously reducing our environmental impact and strengthening our quality is an important part of our operations. The work is carried out towards established environmental and quality targets that are revised and expanded on an ongoing basis. Our suppliers shall share our ambition and we set specified environmental and quality requirements in procurement.
Our direction for reduced climate footprint towards 2030

We want to be part of the solution and we believe that real change happens when environmental care goes hand in hand with smart, innovative working methods. With our sights set on 2030, we have established clear targets to reduce our climate footprint and use resources in a more sustainable way.

Through more efficient transport, our own trucks shall emit significantly less carbon dioxide per delivered door. At the same time, we work purposefully to minimise waste in production and make better use of materials, with the ambition to reduce scrap sheet rejection.

We also see great opportunities in optimising logistics. By increasing the share of return loads, we can use each transport more efficiently and reduce unnecessary journeys. In parallel, we strive to reduce the amount of combustible waste per delivered door, which contributes to both lower environmental impact and more efficient resource use.

Together, these represent concrete steps towards a more sustainable business where we take responsibility, think innovatively and contribute to positive development for both customers and the environment.
Our environmental targets towards 2030

Target 1: Reduced CO₂ emissions
To reduce CO₂ emissions from our own trucks by 15 per cent per delivered door by 2030, compared to the 2025 level.

Target 2: Reduced scrap rejection
To reduce scrap sheet rejection to 0.4 per cent per year by 2030, thereby reducing resource consumption in production.

Target 3: Increased share of return loads
To increase the share of return loads by 20 per cent per delivered in-house manufactured door volume by 2030.

Target 4: Reduced combustible waste
To reduce the share of combustible waste by 20 per cent per delivered in-house manufactured door volume by 2030, compared to the 2025 level.
85,46%
of our door is recyclable
An Ecolid folding door consists predominantly of steel sheet and aluminium, materials that can be fully recycled. With a total recycling rate of 85.46 per cent, we ensure that our products contribute to circular material management even at the end of their service life.
