Quality & the environment

Prido takes responsibility for the future and would like to be part of the solution to one of the greatest challenges of our time.  We conduct active sustainability work. Constantly reducing our environmental impact and strengthening our quality are important aspects of our business. This work is carried out in relation to established environmental and quality goals, which are continually being revised and expanded. We demand that our suppliers share our ambition, and we impose specific environmental and quality requirements in connection with procurements.

Ongoing environmental goals

  • By 2030, compared with the 2025 level, reduce CO₂ emissions from own trucks by 15% per delivered door..
  • By 2030, reduce scrap sheet rejection to 0.4% per year, thereby reducing resource consumption.
  • By 2030, increase the share of return loads by 20% per delivered in-house manufactured door volume, measured in loading meters and doors delivered by own transport.
  • By 2030, compared with the 2025 level, reduce the share of combustible waste by 20% per delivered in-house manufactured door volume

Completed environmental goals

  • To reduce the amount of combustible waste per delivered door by 20% by 2020, compared to the 2018 level. Result: The amount of combustible waste was reduced by 45.3% by 2020
