1973
The company is founded.

1974
The first product, the Lida door. Our doors quickly become a success among the country’s farmers.

1994
The Ecolid door is launched. Today, it is our largest product and Sweden’s best-selling folding door. It features a sandwich construction and meets all requirements regarding function, quality, and design.

1996
Ownership changes and the company leaves the “Borga Group”.

2002
Name change to Prido AB. Prido stands for “Professional Industrial Doors”.

2005
Generation 2 of our Ecolid door is launched. Under the name Ecolid ES, it takes a major technical and design step into the future. It is also fully adapted to the European standards that began to apply at that time.

2013
Our new rapid roll door Revolid is launched. With the Revolid, we reach a new market and become a more comprehensive player within the industry.

2016
Prido launches a new improved version of the Ecolid steel door. The Ecolid steel door, with the classic design from the well-known and proven Ecolid door, has now been combined with an innovative aluminum frame with a broken thermal bridge.

2017
PriDrive is launched. A completely proprietary automation solution for motorized folding doors that significantly improves the folding door’s competitiveness.

2021
Prido is fully focused on industrial doors, and with over 45 years of experience, is one of the leading players on the Swedish market.
